Riber Gets Orders for two MBE Systems for Research

Riber, a maker of MBE systems based in Bezons, France,  reported that it has received two orders for research machines. The Fraunhofer HHI (Heinrich Hertz Institute) in Germany ordered the Riber MBE 412 system.  The institute says that it plans to use the system for Terahertz photonics applications. Riber will deliver the MBE 412 to Fraunhofer HHI in 2016.

Also, Riber says that a leading U.S. laboratory ordered a Compact 21 MBE system. The laboratory intends to use the system to expand its research capabilities for gallium nitride structures. Riber officially booked the U.S. order in November and plans to ship the system for the U.S. order in 2016.
