Custom MMIC has introduced three GaN MMIC Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs) with an output IP3 of +32 dBm and high input power handling of 5 Watts.
The CMD276C4, CMD277C4 and CMD278C4 GaN MMIC LNAs boast high linearity performance with output IP3 of +32dBm while providing high input power handling of 5W. The high input power handling enables system designers to avoid using limiters and other protection networks, while still producing an extremely low noise figure over the operating bandwidth. These new MMIC LNAs come in a leadless 4×4 mm QFN package and are ideal for radar and electronic warfare (EW) applications requiring high performance and high input power survivability.
New GaN MMIC LNA Models
The CMD276C4, a 2.6 to 4 GHz (S Band) GaN MMIC LNA, offers greater than 14 dB of gain with an output 1 dB compression point of +25.5 dBm, and a noise figure of 1.2 dB.
The CMD277C4 is a 5 to 7 GHz (C Band) GaN MMIC LNA with 20 dB of gain, an output 1 dB compression point of +26.5 dBm, and a noise figure of 1.2 dB.
The CMD278C4, a broadband 8-12 GHz (X Band) GaN MMIC LNA, features 15 dB of gain, an output 1 dB compression point of +28 dBm, and a noise figure of 1.8 dB.
