Anokiwave, Inc., of San Diego, California USA, a company supplying highly integrated IC solutions for millimeter wave (mmW) applications, announced the opening of a millimeter wave design verification laboratory in its San Diego office. The company says that the new laboratory enables rapid characterization of its mmW ICs for radar, 5G, and satcom markets. In addition to allowing mmW design verification, the new lab space lets Anokiwave continue supplying production ready products for the mmW Active Antenna market.
Millimeter Wave Engineering Verification in New Anokiwave Lab
The laboratory features state of the art test instrumentation and wafer probing capability for frequencies up to 50 GHz. The instrumentation and wafer probing capability supports both the fast characterization of new products and increased capacity for applications engineering evaluation.
Among the numerous products that the company develops and produces are Ka-band and E-band III/V front-end solutions.
“Investing in the facility in San Diego will increase our design verification capacity, which ultimately improves our time-to-market,” stated Nitin Jain, Anokiwave Founder and CTO. “Anokiwave is a leading provider of mmW Active Antenna ICs and today’s announcement is the latest example of Anokiwave’s commitment to the emerging mmW 5G, SATCOM, and RADAR markets.”
