CST Global Joins European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC)

CST Global, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sivers IMA Holdings AB, reported that the company has become a member of the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC); The association reportedly maintains the largest, active, network of photonics-related companies in Europe. EPIC’s membership now includes 370 companies, spanning numerous industry sectors, including LED lighting; optical components; lasers and sensor production; photovoltaic solar energy; photonics integrated circuits; imaging, displays and projection; optical fiber communications; and other industries utilizing photonics technologies.

EPIC members own and operate the organization. The industry members range from start-ups and other small to medium-sized Enterprises to large corporations. The membership also includes research organizations, universities and other stakeholders connected to the photonics industry.

EPIC Organizes 20-30 Events Each Year

EPIC runs several, focused, LinkedIn Groups and exhibits at many, events across Europe. It organizes 20-30 events per year, including technology workshops and networking functions. It gives members opportunities to meet and network with suppliers and industry leaders and also promotes PR and communications opportunities amongst its members.
