The Australian firm, BluGlass Limited reported that it received a significant order commitment from a customer for $600,000 of specialist epitaxy (foundry) development. After fulfilling a small order from this customer, the UK company placed the new order, which BluGlass intends to deliver over the next 12 months. According to BluGlass, the order is to develop a new innovative project. As a foundry, BluGlass offers its own deposition process called Remote Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition (RPCVD).
BluGlass managing director Giles Bourne said, “This single order from a new customer is the largest foundry order that the Company has received to date. The BluGlass foundry business continues to attract select customers, and we are excited to be working with the innovators that will be leading the nitrides industry into the future.”
